9th Eslo London congress, 8-11 July 2010

Editorial

I am happy to invite you to the 9th Lingual Orthodontic Congress in London, from 8th to 11th July 2010.

The great evolution of Lingual Orthodontics and ESLO’s organization in the last 15 years opens new chances and horizons in Europe and in the world of lingual orthodontics. In our modern world, research and continuous improvement of products change things so quickly that ESLO moves forward step by step at the same velocity.

The ESLO Council 2008/2010 follows :
On the one hand the ESLO tradition set from the very beginning of the founding philosophy statuts in 1992 (French and Italian Members). On the other hand the growth of Lingual Orthodontics in other nations of the E.U. and the increasing number of new countries joining the E.U.

London is a wonderful place for tourism and business, where everything will be dedicated to ensuring a successful and cheerful scientific congress.

We are looking forward to welcoming you to what will be an exciting event.

Heartfelt Regards,

Germain BECKER,
ESLO Council President

WELCOME TO LONDON

It gives me great pleasure to invite you to London in July 2010 for the 9th Congress of the European Society of Lingual Orthodontics. Our speciality has taken great strides in the last decade and the number of orthodontists now practising Lingual Orthodontics has risen hugely. The quality of clinical results being presented at conferences is outstanding and the number of quality research projects being carried out is growing each year.

In London we will have an excellent line up of keynote speakers from all over the world and to reflect this, the theme of the Congress will be “Excellence in Lingual Orthodontics”. We will organise round table discussions, a programme for support staff, and of course, a social programme that will bring everyone together.

London is a spectacular city, overflowing with culture and entertainment. There are many world famous sites such as Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, the London Eye, Tower Bridge and The Tower of London to mention just a few. The Congress itself will be held at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre in Westminster at the heart of the city, convenient for a stimulating conference and for getting out to have some fun in the evening !

I look forward to meeting you.

Robert Slater
Chairman ESLO Organising Committee
